Red Hen Remote has clients connecting from all over the world. To display the correct time for each of these clients, the server examines the time zone set on the client's local PC and calculates the correct time accordingly. If the time zone is set incorrectly, your Remote Desktop clock will be out of sync. To fix this, log out of your Remote Desktop and adjust your local time zone accordingly.
To adjust the time zone on a Windows PC:
- Open your Control Panel (Start > Settings > Control Panel)
- Open the Time and Date properties.
- Select the Time Zone tab.
- Select the correct time zone and click OK.
- Re-launch your Remote Desktop.
To adjust the time zone on a Wyse terminal:
- Select the Configuration tab from the main connection dialog.
- Press F2 to bring up Terminal Properties.
- Select the Devices tab.
- Double-click on Date and Time.
- Select the correct time zone. Click OK.
- Click Apply in the Terminal Properties dialog.
- Click Close.
- Restart the thin client when prompted.
